The Seven
I am an optimistic and enthusiastic person - life is an adventure, and I believe things should be fun. I love life to be stimulating and up-beat. My attention focuses on what is interesting, new, or pleasurable. I am always imagining positive, future possibilities - in fact, planning can often be more enjoyable than the actual doing.
What’s important to me is to have lots of excitement and variety in my life - a quiet life and routine bore me stiff. I don’t want life passing me by. I hate having my options limited, and people who try to put limits on me can make me angry.
People who are depressed, unhappy or stuck bring me down so I try to avoid them. I can put a positive spin on almost everything, especially to avoid a painful situation or feeling (actually, pleasure is my form of anaesthetic). I tend to spend more money than I should – but then isn’t life mean to be fun?
I have great vision for things and I am creative and highly imaginative. I’m good at the big picture, not so much the little details – it’s more enjoyable for me to brainstorm a lot of new ideas than to get involved with implementing them. One of my main problems is that I am easily distracted and can get too scattered because my mind is always busy and chattering.
