The Six

I am a warm, loyal person that others can rely on to do a good job. Knowing I am responsible, and trustworthy, it's been important to me that my dependability and competence is recognized. Most important, I need to know I've done a good job and the right thing. I tend to be a ‘should must’ sort of person and always need to finish my jobs before I can relax.

Being in the spotlight makes me uneasy because I’m not confident if I might be vulnerable to criticism or attack. I’m happier working away in the background.

People see me as a friendly person with a good sense of humour and when I’m relaxed I can be very playful and engaging. However, anxiety seems to be my middle name – I tend to worry about the outcome of most things, although I can be very clear thinking and level headed in a crisis. Then, I know just what practical sort of help is needed, and just get on with it.

I tend to doubt myself and my own decisions and can have a hard time making decisions, especially the big ones, in fact, I can have a problem with procrastination.

Other people need to prove themselves to me before I trust them, and I find myself suspicious of other’s motives and intentions. I have an inbuilt detector for problems - I can be really sceptical, even cynical about all kinds of things and am actually rather a good trouble-shooter, noticing things other people miss.
